Celtic legend Bertie Auld is one of the most controversial and colourful characters in Scottish football history. For decades he has steadfastly refused to discuss his remarkable lifetime in the game – until now!
Bertie never shirked a tackle as a player and there are still no holds barred long after the boots have been put away. It's the book everyone wanted and it’s a sensational read. This bestselling autobiography is now available in paperback for the first time.

Bertie Auld won 13 medals with Celtic in their astonishing rise to fame in the Sixties. He made his debut against Rangers in 1957. He left for Birmingham City four years later only to return in 1965. In his second spell he made 257 appearances and scored 85 goals. He also managed Hibs, Partick Thistle (twice), Hamilton and Dumbarton. He is now a matchday host at Celtic and a media pundit. Alex Gordon is an author and former sports editor of a national newspaper. His previous books include Celtic: The First 100 Years and The Lisbon Lions. He now runs a successful sports news agency and lives in Glasgow.
