It is a little known fact that the Bard of Aryshire, Rabbie Burmese, could often be heard mewing his poems on the garden fence after a late night out with the ally cats. Or that her dislike of water made Fluffy Macdonalds bonny boat trip to Skye even more impressive. For that matter, has anyone really given Whiskers Wallace his due for being the first to utter, Cry furdom!? And can you blame Persian Connery for his annoyance at being continually mistaken for Blowfelds feline friend?
When cat-lovers Alison Mary Fitt and Bob Dewar got together, it could only mean one thing: Purrrfect Scottish Cats. Here, twenty of the countrys most beloved icons are transformed into cats in what has to be the most surreal but hilarious Scottish book this Christmas.
But the question still remains. As she tutored her Siamese kittens in The Lion King and I, did Deborah Purr wear kitten heels?
Ailurophobes need not apply!
